If we could raise $5,000 he would match it with his own $5,000. This week we reached our goal. The result is that we raised $10,000 for our November campaign to defeat driver cards to illegal aliens. Thank you to all who donated to the campaign! And, a big thank you to our generous donor. Arrogance runs rampant in the House
February 27, 2014
Today, in a 36 - 24 vote, in the Oregon Legislature - the House of Representatives voted to shove a stick in the eye of over 77,000 Oregon voters who rightfully and diligently participated in the citizen veto referendum process.
HB 4054A overrides the constitutionally guaranteed process by dragging a never used law out of the depths, that allows the Legislature to write, not only the ballot title, but the ballot yes and no statements and ballot summary language. This move smacks of placing the fox in charge of the keys to the hen house.
