SB 833 referendum kick off a big success

Oregonians for Immigration Reform hosted a kick off campaign meeting for Protect Oregon Driver Licenses Saturday, June 1, 2013.

The history of SB 833 was reviewed and the dangerous and unintended consequences of the bill were explained to the large group of Oregon voters in attendance. The referendum process was explained in detail to the group.

After a thorough lesson in signature gathering techniques, packets were distributed to those anxious to gather enough signatures to get SB 833 on the Oregon ballot.

If you have never been actively involved in the immigration issue, now is the time to do it. EVERYONE is needed to pitch in and help prevent Oregon from becoming a mecca for illegal aliens.

Saturday, June 1 at 2:00 pm, OFIR will host its quarterly meeting at the Best Western Mill Creek Inn, just across from Costco in Salem. Our focus will be on the Referendum that OFIR filed against SB 833.

Oregon Republican Party Endorses SB 833 Referendum

Protect Oregon Driver Licenses is proud to announce the support of the Oregon Republican Party in our campaign to overturn SB833.

An email expression of support was sent to 66,000 registered Republicans by the ORP.  It's a Herculean task we face to get 58,142 signatures, but with grassroots activists involved, we can do it!

If you are interested in helping with a financial contribution to offset the expense involved in this campaign, it would be deeply appreciated.

Protect Oregon Driver Licenses is pleased to announce that petitions for referendum 301 are now being circulated. We need 58,143 signatures to place a referendum on SB 833 on the ballot.

People are already lining up to sign the petitions. However, we only have a few months to gather signatures, so we are asking concerned individuals to help us by signing the petition at home and by circulating a petition for others to sign.

We look forward to placing this referendum on SB 833 on the ballot so that the voters themselves can decide if they want this law to be in effect in...
